Close to the Museum...

For a day, for a break, for a ramble or a drive…
Starting point for a walk through the vines, the Museum offers a perfect setting to have a few minutes' break or to have lunch.

Come and enjoy its natural surroundings and its practical settlements:

  • Picnic tables, protected or not by a porch roof, along the vines of the Museum and the banks of the Sangueze; free access.
  • Departure of a walking footpath, "le circuit de la Sangueze" 8 km through the vines, the small villages and the old areas of Le Pallet, along the ancient railway and the Sangueze.
  • A stop for camper-vans on the Museum car park.
  • The site of "la Butte Sainte Anne", listed Historical Monument and testimony of the medieval history of "la Châtellenie of Le Pallet".
  • A network of wine-growers and vine-growing domains, 40 of them have the label "Caves touristiques accueillantes" (="welcoming touristic cellars") and are accessible within 7 km around the Museum.
  • Vineyard linear landscapes, in the heart of "Sevre et Maine".
  • 3 km from the Museum, the small village of "Pe de Sevre", spotted as typical wine-growing and architectural heritage of the region.
  • 9 km from the Museum: the town of Clisson and its historical heart with "the covered market" and the "Castle". Clisson owns several listed sites and monuments.
  • 12 km from the Museum, the "Domaine de la Garenne-Lemot", an architectural and fantasized madness from the 18th century, with its architectural influence spreading in a lot of renowned monuments of the vineyard (castle, gardener's house and park).
